Depending on the type of laser treatment you use, the results from a laser hair removal can last for several months or even years.
Is Laser Hair Removal Safe?
Laser hair removal is extremely safe, as many of the laser technologies can be used on all skin types. The procedure itself is relatively pain-free, although some patients have reported a mild stinging sensation. Patients should expect to see mild redness in the treatment area, which should be protected with sunscreen. Some patients also reported a mild breakout after treatment, as the disappearing hair follicles leave the pores open for a few days. Minimize use of make-up and apply a gentle antibacterial treatment cream to the area if breakouts are a concern.
