Celebrity Beauty Secrets – 1

This era has often been called the information age.  Twenty-four news cycles, instant information with the click of mouse via the internet, beauty experts giving information on television, magazines, and blogs.   Beauty secrets aren’t beauty secrets anymore.

As we see our favorite celebrity on the cover of a magazine, we are often in awe of how flawless he or she looks.  There is this belief that they look great because they have a great makeup artist and yes that is true.  As a makeup artist myself, I now the power of makeup.   Celebrities often times give praise and credit to their makeup artist but rarely mention their esthetician.   But as an esthetician, I also know the power of great skincare.  In the age of information, why are they choosing to give us half the truth.  I am here to expose the truth-the whole truth.

Secret number 1:  Amazing skin starts with amazing skincare.   There are many skincare products on the market.  I know it can be a bit confusing.  Don’t worry, it’s simple.   Know your skin type, and use products that are designed for your skin.  Just because your girlfriend using something doesn’t mean it will work for you.  A great way to know you skin is to come in to Beaux Arts Institute of Plastic Surgery and get a complimentary skincare analysis.  Every celebrity has a skincare system that he or she does not deviate from but will  only add to as he or she ages.   Almost every celebrity has an esthetician and religiously  follow his or her advice.  A celebrity skincare system consist of an eye cream, 1, 2  or 3 serums, and exfoliant, a moisturizer and sunscreen.  A big celebrity secret is that their system includes  glycolic acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and sometimes hydroquinone and other lightners to treat hyper-pigmentation.   I give my clients celebrity skin with:  PCA CLEANSER,  PCA EXFOLIANT, VI Derm complete care serum, or PCA Retinol renewal, PCA Pigment gel for hyperpigmentation which contains Hydroquinone, PCA moisturizer, and PCA Spf 30 which contains kojic acid.
